Designer Jeans

The number one must have in any fashion conscience person's wardrobe is undoubtedly a great pair of jeans. Jeans can be dressed up for a night on the town and they can be worn with a cute tee and trendy flats for a day of shopping. It is the most important staple and therfore should be carefully chosen. The right pair can make you look like a million bucks so spending a bit more than you would like is going to be well worth it in the end. When choosing your signature denim, they are a few things to keep in mind. Most importantly, fit is everything. I have never bought a pair of jeans without trying on a least 30 different pairs and insisting on a three way mirror to look at every angle possible. Please make sure that you can squat down without showing any crack. If you can, you are in the wrong pair. Also check that you do not have a muffin top. If suspect, return to the rack and immediately grap the next size up and run to the fitting room before anyone else notices. Finally, be prepared to have them professionally hemmed. It is highly unlikely, unless you are Kate Moss, that they will be the exact right length. Many higher end stores offer this as a free service so don't forget to ask.
