Maternity Dress

Like many people, I have mixed feelings about attending my upcoming high school reunion and on top of that I will be 6 months pregnant. Dressing for a semi-formal occasion while being this far along can be a tricky thing to do. First of all, you want to make sure that people realize that you in fact are pregnant and not just bloated off the appetizers. I am one hundred percent in favor of investing in a stylish maternity cocktail dress as opposed to picking whatever fits because you will probably wear it more than once. I have already worn mine to a wedding, a shower and I will be wearing it to a Christmas party as well as my reunion. You definitely want to pick something comfortable because busting a move on the dance floor is the only way to have fun at these gatherings. And besides, everyone thinks a dancing pregnant lady is cute even if she has no skills and is attempting to do the robot (my friends and family know what I am talking about!) If you are going to be the only one in the room who cannot have a drink to build up your confidence, show up looking like a million bucks.

There are many non maternity dresses that can work if they have an empire waist and are made of a stretchy or flowing material. Here is a couple to consider.
